University Fellowships

The University Fellowships Office works with undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni to prepare for prestigious and nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships.

Think, Do, Pursue!

The University Fellowships Office supports all students academically and professionally. We promote awareness of various external funding opportunities while making the process of applying for awards an enriching and reflective personal journey. Within the parameters of each award, we support students through the entire process by providing advising sessions, writing support, interview preparation and institutional endorsements

Most fellowships allow students to study, conduct research, or perform work abroad to gain practical experience in their field and strengthen cross-cultural engagement skills. These external awards provide funding and life-changing opportunities across a range of disciplines and interests.

From the initial inquiry to the nomination and selection stage, the UFO works with undergraduates, graduates, and alumni to prepare competitive applications for prestigious awards such as the Marshall, Gates-Cambridge, Rhodes, Truman, and Fulbright Scholarships and more. Let us help you ‘Think and Do’! Interested students can complete our Intake Form and an advisor will follow-up. For all other questions and inquiries, contact the UFO at fellowship-advising@ncsu.edu.
