Mission
The University Fellowships Office offers assistance to undergraduate students, graduate students, and NC State alumni (as resources permit) in all stages of the application process for nationally competitive fellowships and scholarships, including awards for undergraduate study abroad opportunities, graduate study (masters/doctoral), and international/domestic research funding.
How We Achieve Our Mission
By working alongside our advisors, the UFO hopes to help students prepare for fellowship and scholarship opportunities by:
- employing principles of good writing
- effectively articulating themselves in oral communication
By The Numbers
39 students received prestigious fellowship awards
UFO aided over 400 students in their pursuit of graduate funding and opportunities. As a result, thirty-nine students received prestigious fellowship awards.
Two Years in a joint initiative between DASA and The Graduate School
UFO is approaching its second year of being a joint initiative between DASA and The Graduate School that services both undergraduate and graduate students.
$5,000
UFO SEED Grants fund undergraduate students up to $5,000 to enhance their undergraduate research/studies through extraordinary experiences.
